'Blur state': graduate collection

This Final Major Project is a womenswear collection for Autumn/Winter 2026/27 positioned within the Contemporary/Premium Contemporary market for women aged 22–35. Inspired by ski culture and après-ski environments, the collection explores the tension between control and instability through distorted silhouettes, layered garments, and displaced design details. Combining technical sportswear influences with conceptual womenswear, the collection utilises jersey, outerwear fabrics, wadding, and innovative print techniques. A palette of icy whites, neutrals, and blues reflects alpine landscapes, while material experimentation with resin and acrylic applications creates frozen and melting effects that reinforce themes of movement, imbalance, and transformation.
