"Did You Catch a Hare?" is a Central Saint Martins MA Character Animation 2026 grad film. It's a short, fully hand-drawn animated film that follows a young girl who interprets the world around her very literally. Inspired by a misunderstanding of a phrase, the story explores overthinking, internalising, and the way unresolved feelings can quietly grow over time. Blending surreal imagery with emotionally grounded storytelling, the film visualises spiraling thoughts and the process of assigning meaning to something ultimately neutral. "Did You Catch a Hare?" premiered at the BFI Southbank on June 18th 2026 as part of the MACA graduate showcase.
